Rio: Christ the Redeemer Official Ticket by Cog Train

1. Rio: Christ the Redeemer Official Ticket by Cog Train

Go all the way up to the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer by the Corcovado Train. The Train rides through a railway inside Tijuca National Park, the largest urban forest in the world, making a unique view over Rio de Janeiro city. Enjoy an amazing ride on a train that takes you right up to the foot of the statue of The Christ, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World and one of the most famous sights in Brazil. Besides admiring one of the most beautiful landscapes of the city, you will take a walk through Brazil's history. The Corcovado Railroad was the first electrified railroad in Brazil. Inaugurated in 1884 by D. Pedro II, it is older than Christ the Redeemer itself. In fact, it was the train that, during four consecutive years, transported pieces for monument’s construction. Your visit starts on the century-old electric locomotive, riding across the preserved Atlantic Forest, part of the Tijuca National Park. At the foot of the statue of Christ, you'll be able to take in the most beautiful view over the city, and see from above what makes Rio de Janeiro so special.

Visiting the Christo was a “must do” experience while in RIo. It is even more spectacular up close than I expected it to be. There are not very many cog trains in the world, so that short train ride is a fun way to get to the Christo. Also the train provides an opportunity to see the national park which is in the middle of a densely populated city like Rio. It’s an interesting and beautiful train ride through the park. It gives you an appreciation for how high the Christo is above the city.

I received the email right away, when I got there everything was perfect, the only difference is that I had to wear a bracelet, which doesn't cause any embarrassment. The amount paid reaches practically 1/4 of the value at the box office. This in promotion for residents. I loved!!!

Choose the day to go, preferably at the 1st hour 8am (it was the second time for me, because the first time the weather was overcast… and it was totally hidden by the Mist). It is a must in Brazil and Rio de Janeiro .. MANDATORY passage.

Very good I liked it more, there were a lot of people I could barely take a picture there were people pushing you all the time, other than that I liked it more

Good organization of the shuffles and exceptional view from the Cristo platform all over the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro
