We knew it would be a long drive, that’s given. However the tour order is all wrong. After seeing water falls in the morning, the tour ended up at a grossly overpriced and no-choice buffet at 1.30pm, then started our tour of palatine in the blistering 38 degrees (hottest time of the day), 90% humidity, with a full belly. A recipe to make people sick. Then back into the van (with poor aircon), clothes absolutely drenched from spending two hours in the hottest part of tropical sunshine, loaded up with more passengers and 6+ hours back to SC. Blek. They should have taken us to Palenque first thing in the morning, when it was cool, and safer, and then gone to waterfalls to cool off and refresh on the way back. That would have been a fun tour.
