Moving down the hill we to the busy Downtown of Lisbon, famous for its bustling commerce, its cafeterias and liquor shops, and of course, the beautiful portuguese stone patterns covering the ground, the typical portuguese calçada. Enjoy the ride back to our office as we pass through the Downtown with 18th century "Manhattan style" architecture, the old yellow electric trams and so much more to see.

Then head slightly down the river to the Monument to the Discoveries, which was dedicated to the Portuguese discoverers. These three monuments are some of the most visited in the city. Do not forget to sample the famous Pastéis de Nata while you are in Belem.

Start with the New Town at Parque Eduardo VII, you will be able to see the magnificent Lisbon view framed by the Tagus River and understand why Lisbon is known as the city of 7 hills. After this, it's time to explore Principe Real and Miradouro São Pedro de Alcântara, the Bairro Alto lookout point, often considered the most romantic in Lisbon. After this go towards the Belém monumental area, also known as the Navigation area, this was once the starting point of caravel trips to “the New World” discoveries. You can visit the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, Padrão dos Descobrimentos and Torre de Belém, also making a short break to taste the delicious and typical Pasteis de Belém. Following this, you will head to explore the beautiful and historical Old Town, start at square Praça do Comércio, also called Terreiro do Paço, which was completely remodeled as part of the rebuilding of the Pombaline Downtown, after the 1755 earthquake. Explore monuments such as the Cathedral, Saint Vicent Outside Monastary, the National Pantheon, and many others. The tour will end with a visit to the typical Alfama, the oldest district of Lisbon, spreading on the slope between the São Jorge Castle and Tejo river.
