Pass by the garden of São Pedro de Alcântara and enjoy views of Baixa and the south bank of the Tagus River. Visit the San Roque Church built by the Jesuits. Admire its austere façade, and the gilding, tiles, and paintings inside that make it a wonderful museum of Mannerist and Baroque styles. Head down the hill to the Carmo convent and church, fine examples of the city’s Gothic architecture. This is a site of historical importance as it was here that the Carnation Revolution began in 1974, putting an end to nearly 5 decades of dictatorship. A little further on, arrive at the Santa Justa elevator, an imposing monument built in the Gothic Revival style, that provides one of the best viewpoints in the city. See a number of attractions in Baixa, in the heart of the city. After a short break, take a ride on the tram, going up from the castle to the Portas do Sol. At the Portas do Sol, see the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora, the National Pantheon, and the Alfama district that spans several narrow streets to the River Tagus. Explore Alfama, one of the oldest and most traditional neighborhoods of Lisbon, known for its fado houses, and the popular festivals of saints, particularly St. Anthony. End the tour at Lisbon Cathedral, built in 1150, 3 years after the city was taken back from the Moors. Over time it has been subject to various architectural changes, becoming a mixture of different styles.

We start off with a hands-on driving lesson so that you can grab the Segway confidently and get out climbing through its charming little streets - our dedicated staff will help you along the way. There is already so much to see riding out from our training grounds and as we set course to Terreiro do Paço, one of the most famous squares in Portugal - get in touch with the history of the Discoveries and the time of famous explorers sailing across the world. From here we move to the luxury Chiado area, famous for its shopping and vintage stores, and end up hill in the square of Largo do Carmo, in front of the old monastery that did not survive the Lisbon earthquake of 1755. Enjoy the ride back to our office as we pass through the Downtown with 18th century "Manhattan style" architecture, the old yellow electric trams and so much more to see.

Here, you have the best sunrise views in town and blue is the predominant color in here. In the movie Lisbon Story by Wim Wenders, this place is well featured. Discover one of the best hideaways in the city. Torel Belvedere was renovated in 2009 with a cafe on the lower terrace. Its ex libris is an 18th-century mermaid statue, which turns into a pool every August known as the beach of Torel. Here, you find the oldest funicular of Lisbon, the Elevador do Lavra.

Explore monuments such as the Cathedral, Saint Vicent Outside Monastary, the National Pantheon, and many others. The tour will end with a visit to the typical Alfama, the oldest district of Lisbon, spreading on the slope between the São Jorge Castle and Tejo river.

Great car. Felt safe and secure. Fantastic guide. We were lucky to have the friendly and charming Joao guide us through the lovely Alfama area.
