Wonderful history tour while eating small bites at perfectly picked locations. Our guide Jessie explained the connection of the food choices to life in Charleston. I’d recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun filled and very filling activity .

The Secret Food Tour with Oliver was such an enjoyable experience for us. Oliver kept us captivated with his knowledge of the food and the historical context not just around the food but about all things Charleston. We are so happy we planned the tour at the beginning of our stay because Oliver’s suggestions definitely helped us craft the rest of our trip. He shared so much more than we expected and adapted the stories he shared to our interests. It felt like we had a friend at Charleston!

I thought the BBQ was excellent! The Oyster house just so so and the Well Hung place was just so so also. I liked the cookie place. The pink slipper place was not that good and since it was dessert should have gone last and not in the middle of the tour. I thought it was a little over priced for the food that we got. I felt not enough history was told( but our guide was very nice and told us a few interesting facts. I also felt that maybe we could have had more food depicting Charleston.
