Upon arrival at the restaurant, enjoy a tasting of "šklojce" (dried fruit) and traditional Slovenian schnapps. Then, immerse yourself in the best of the Slovenian's culture with a night of traditional food and folk dancing. After regaining your composure from the schnapps, get ready for 3 courses of traditional food accompanied by a glass of local wine. The show will begin as you enjoy your homemade starter. Witness three lively dance performances that will have you jumping in your seat and wanting to try the dance yourself. Next, fill up with a peasant-style chicken, pork fillet with chef’s sauce, potatoes and salad. Now it's your turn to hop onto the dance floor to learn the Polka. Finish your evening with desert and traditional Slovenian games such as pouštertanc, which translates as 'the cushion dance.' Finally, after a night of fun and games, receive a special homemade souvenir as you leave the restaurant.

Be brave enough to jump in an illusion created by the vortex tunnel, the first of such in this part of Europe! Vortex will drive you crazy and make you believe you’re heavily struggling just to make a step forward through a rotating cylinder – on a surface so stable and flat! Deform the image of yourself in a mirror room, set yourself free in an Infinity room, resist the laws of gravity and size ratio, and take pictures of yourself in every possible pose.

You will start your small-group tour with a pickup from your central Ljubljana hotel, and depart for Lake Bled in an air-conditioned minivan. On the 1-hour journey, you can admire rural Slovenia and listen as your guide describes the glacier-formed lake and the legends that surround Bled Island, the church-topped islet in its center. On arrival, you can drink in the views of the lake and towering mountains, and gaze up at medieval Bled Castle, the fortress perched high on a cliff above the water. Then, you will ride a two-oared pletna to the island and enjoy free time to explore, visit the Church of the Assumption of Mary or sample some scrumptious potica at the island cafe. Next, you will be driven up to Bled Castle and can delve inside the red-turreted fortress. Absorb the bird's-eye views of the lakes from the walls and visit the museum to chart the castle’s story from its roots in the 11th century. You will then return to the lakeside for free time to walk around, and if you wish, sample a local specialty, kremšnita vanilla cream cake. Then, after a break for lunch, travel onward to your next stop, Predjama Castle. You can marvel at this remarkable cliffside castle and hear how it was extended through the centuries after being built in 1202. Then, you can choose either to explore its stairways and chambers on your own, or with a guide. Lastly, you will continue to nearby Postojna Cave, Slovenia’s most-visited tourist attraction. Ride the mini-train into the depths of this subterranean network and then follow a guide through its eerie caverns. Ogle the bizarre stalactites, stalagmites, and rock formations and hear tales of how the caves were created and the rare amphibians that live in its underground rivers — the blind salamanders known as 'human fish.' Then, return to your minivan and end your tour in Ljubljana, with a drop-off at your hotel.

Continue to Lake Bohinj, the largest and most beautiful Alpine lake in Slovenia.  Discover alpine villages such as Ribčev Laz and Ukanc and take a short hike to picturesque Savica waterfall. Then, return to your minivan and end your tour in Ljubljana, with a drop off at your hotel.

On the afternoon of your tour, you will meet your guide at your hotel in central Ljubljana. After a short meet and greet with your driver/guide you will set off in an air-conditioned minivan for Predjama Castle, located roughly 1-hour away in the historical region of Inner Carniola. As you travel, hear how the castle sits 400 feet (123 meters) above ground on a cliff. On arrival, choose to tour the fortress either with your guide or independently. Explore the chambers, linked by winding staircases, and marvel at the collection of historical artifacts, from antique armaments to old artworks and furnishings. Learn of the infamous rebel knight, Erazem of Predjama, who lived here in the 15th century, and hear about the tunnel of Erazem, the secret passage used when the castle was besieged. After around an hour, continue to Postojna Cave, roughly 15-minutes away. Part of one of the Slovenian Karst region’s many cave systems, Postojna Cave is Slovenia’s most-visited tourist attraction and the largest cave in the country. Board the mini-train and travel into the depths of the 13-mile network, and then, with one of the cave's guides, set off on foot to explore its eerie caverns. Admire the otherworldly stalactites, stalagmites and rock formations, and discover how the caves were created. Hear, too, how the cave is home to some 100 different animal species, including the blind salamanders, known as ‘human fish,’ that live in its underground rivers. Following your 1.5-hour tour, head back above ground and travel back to Ljubljana, where your tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel.

Begin your drive in Ljubljana, and make your way to Škofja Loka at your own pace. Begin your journey with a short drive from Ljubljana to discover the famous Apline jewel of Lake Bled. Choose your itinerary from the curated list of options, and stop to hike along the lake’s scenic routes, explore Bled Castle perched on the top of a cliff above Lake Bled, or enjoy a relaxing boat ride on a pletna — a traditional flat-bottom boat. Continue on to one of the most stunning natural canyons, the impressive Vintgar Gorge, where you can walk along wooden platforms and bridges above the rushing Radovna River, ending your walk by the 13-meter high Sum waterfall. Next is Lake Bohinj, Slovenia’s largest glacial lake, in the Triglav National Park. Swim, canoe, and walk in the verdant park, or simply relax next to the calm waters. Head back to Ljubljana, and on your way stop in Škofja Loka, one of the oldest and best-preserved Slovenian towns still standing today. Walk through the charming town center and marvel at the castle and monastery perched high above you. Round up your trip by driving back to Slovenia’s capital city at your own pace.
