We had a great time on the experience! The views are stunning and the hike is not too strenuous despite the altitude - you can take regular breaks to get your breath back too. It’s very quiet and peaceful (we went on a Saturday and there was nobody around really!). It is cold when you first get out of the car but you warm up quickly on the hike, so take some layers! Lunch was included and so were some antojitos at a taco stand on the way back to the city, which were delicious.

The tour was very nice, although unfortunately there was bad weather and I didn't see much of the volcano. The guide (Bernardo) was super helpful and good company. The only critical point was that we were not well informed that it is so cold up there, and despite having checked the weather and brought everything I need for the cold unfortunately it rained for a few hours and the temperature dropped by many degrees. I think it should be better explained what kind of clothing to have to be ready for any eventuality, also because the tour is long and once started there is no turning back (rightly so). In any case, beautiful landscapes and beautiful experience!

The hiking between the volcanos was a great experience. I was the only participant that day so my guide always made sure we were walking in the right pace for me. The panorama was stunning and l could take a couple of great pictures of Popocatépetl. My guide Bernardo was very friendly and always made sure l was feeling good. He also provided me with additional information about the nature and Mexico in general.
