The mosaics in the ruins of the Roman Villa del Casale in Piazza Armerina are truly beautiful and give you a glimpse into Roman life centuries ago. The information about the mosaics is informative, but not overwhelming. The raised walkway leads you through through the villa, so that you're looking at the mosaics from above. Luckily, the complex is covered to protect this Sicilian history from the elements (and you from the summer heat). After our visit here, we went to a restaurant in nearby Piazza Armerina for a wonderful lunch with delicious Sicilian food and wine. The next stage fo the day-trip was at the Valley of the Temples. The area is pretty extensive, and it also offers breathtaking views of the coast. There are informative plaques at each temple (or ruins of one that once stood there), but you also have the option to get an audio guide when you buy your ticket. It's a long day to visit both locations, but it's totally worth it.

I was skeptical at first since I didn't know the website and I could find all kinds of variations for trips to Etna for very different prices with unclear descriptions, however, I went with this one for the summit since it was clear from the title that we will aim for as high as possible and loved it! Massimo, the guide was very clear in explanations and had a good sense of humor. he kept us motivated and engaged throughout the climb such that the 6 hours have passed very easily. Hiking on a volcano is a unique experience you should totally try!

Punctual pick-up at the corner of our accommodation. Only another couple and us, the guide, Dario, charming, knowledgeable about the history, customs and charms of the tour, very entertaining, we stopped to try typical things in typical places, we had free time to do our private tour with all kinds of explanations and support material. We had a picnic with Sicilian food and wine!

Perfect hike. We weren't able to climb to the peaks due to the volcano activity, but the alternate route was just as good! (Therefore we paid 80€/person in total instead of 100€). We loved this experience that we would do again without hesitation. Great guide, who spoke French.

Well organised, great guides, went up to 3000m, 7,5 km walking up and down which took about 5h. Loved every minute of it!
