Easy communication, enough space for travel with a small bag. Spoke English, not a requirement but was helpful! Sent emails for what we may need to prepare and contacted with location and pick up time. Was glad to see with the location the included a google maps link to the location. I’d so for a 60$ trip and to do something fun with friends it was nice. Definitely does give you confidence for if you ever wanna go on your own as well. I’d say using GetYourGuide is good for at least few areas you may not know super well, or have a lot of experience traveling on your own. I personally enjoyed the trip. Got to know more about my new home. If your curious of the transportation it wasn’t fancy but was comfortable warm. What more could you ask for

If you want to enjoy Mount Etna and avoid tourist groups then you must book the Private Tour! Giovanni was an amazing guide who was so passionate. We arrived at Mount Etna before the buses and he took us through less traditional paths to walk us through the various craters and talk about the history of the eruptions. Perfect if you want explanations and a bit of adventure. The drive to the winery was a lot of fun full of stories, the food and wine there was excellent and my partner and I didn't feel one second this was a tourist trap. We finished at Taormina which was a lovely city full of lovely spots for pictures, maybe a bit touristic but we were lucky to visit off season to appreciate it.

It was a great experience and a very well organized tour with kind guides (Allesandro and Ernesto) that enlightened us with a lot of interesting information! We had been lucky that it was sunny and there was a lot of snow on Etna in Feb 23 what made the area more interesting and varied and and the hike even a bit adventureous, as we trudged over snow fields, then again sat in the black desert round the caldera and finally slid down the slope on our bottoms :)

Very great tour, the group size of 8 was great. Vincenco is a great guide, imparted a lot of knowledge and took good care of everyone in the group. highlight of the holiday.

It was a lot of fun. Our guide was really nice and friendly.
