Make the most of your European vacation with a day trip from the Algarve to Seville, the capital of Spain's Andalusia region, and see two countries in one day. Spend up to four hours exploring Maria Luisa Park, the alcazar, and Seville Cathedral. After getting picked up from your hotel in the Algarve, hop on the bus for the 3-hour drive to Seville. Your arrival to the city will be marked with a drive over the iconic Triana Bridge. Once in the city, enjoy up to four hours of free time to explore the city at your own pace. You could visit the historic landmarks, including Seville Cathedral — the largest Gothic cathedral in the world, the Royal Alcazar, and the magnificent Maria Luisa Park. Alternatively, enjoy some retail therapy in the legendary Jewish district before returning to Algarve in the evening.

Located between Silves, Monchique, and Lagoa, take your seat at on the estate of a family-owned property with some of the oldest vineyards in the Algarve. Join in a tasting experience that explores the history of the estate, its unique terroir, and its exciting wines while you savor a simple, hearty Algarvian farmers' table lunch.  Gather under a 2,000 year-old tree overlooking old negra mole vines, inside a vintage olive press, or inside the main house and share a simple but tasty multi-course menu paired with 3-4 wines.  After the casual lunch, delight in fascinating stories of Algarve’s landmark vineyard estate over coffee or as you stroll the property in the presence of the resident vineyard manager.

Your experience begins as you are welcomed to Morgado do Quintão for a walk around the estate to observe the vineyards. This will also include a brief introduction to the local grape varieties. Following that, enjoy a tour of the grounds throughout a wine-tasting experience that explores the history of the estate, as well as the terroir-driven wines. You will also learn of the estate's plans for the future as they continue to create Algarve’s landmark wines. Your guides will also tell you all about Algarve’s local grape varieties as you enjoy a tasting 3-4 of their wines. As you sample the wines you can learn about how they're made, as well as how to best pair them with food.

Much of the Algarve’s charm resides in its ability to provide top class tourist facilities and yet retain its own identity, easily visible in the traditional villages and activities of the area. Porches is renowned for its beautiful and original pottery. The Porches Pottery workshop is one of the best representatives of this art and many of the traditional methods of production are still used here today. You can see the pottery being made and painted by hand by the artisans. The fishing village of Benagil is perched above the Atlantic and a tiny but picturesque beach, the sound of the Atlantic the uninterrupted sound track to the village’s activities. Heading towards the resort of Carvoeiro we visit Algar Seco where you can see the amazing caves and grottoes carved from the coastline over the centuries. Enjoy a stroll through the village of Ferragudo, along the cobbled streets and down to the small harbor. Our last stop is in a winery where you can enjoy a guided tour and taste some of the wines produced in this region.

See the Algarve from a unique perspective as you travel around the wine-growing region in a Volkswagen T2 van. Your trip will be punctuated with a lot of history and local knowledge while you explore the beauty of the region.   After getting picked up from your accommodation, board the charismatic Volkswagen T2 for a 2-hour wine tour. On a private tour with just your group or as part of a public tour open to others, visit a local winery (Quinta do Francês Winery). Upon arrival, be welcomed with a guided visit of the winery and the cellar, while you learn about its unique wines and how they are produced in the Demarcated Region of the Algarve. Later, enjoy a tasting of 4 delicious red, white, and rosé wines, and you are welcome to purchase some extra bottles as souvenirs. Get dropped off back at your hotel at the end of your tasting.

After pickup from your accommodation, board a classic Volkswagen T2 for a 4 to 5-hour flavor tour and get ready to see and taste the Algarve in a unique way.
