Hot Air Ballooning Cappadocia Booked with GetYourGuide. Booking extremely easy and communication with the company very good This voucher was booked for 2020-2021. Due to Covid we could not travel. The company honoured the voucher which is much appreciated. Emails sent the night before of pick up time from the hotel. Picked up on time at 6am and only a 10 min drive to the balloon ride. Ride itself was fantastic. Very professional and felt at ease and safe. Delivered back to the hotel about 2.5 hours later.

This was definitely the highlight of our time in Cappadocia. The transportation was clean and comfortable and included a diverse group of people. A guide greeted us at the launch site and took us to our balloon. The balloon operators were experienced, explained exactly what we were seeing in the valley below and were funny too. The views over the valley were incredible. Sunrise over the mountain was breathtaking. After our flight the champagne toast & cake was perfect, and our hosts were friendly and funny. They answered questions and were genuinely kind and appreciative of us choosing their flight. There is time to take photos and talk with others in the group. You'll also receive a really nice certificate to bring home. The height can be scary to think about. Do not let that deter you from doing this. I promise you barely feel like you're climbing to 800 meters. I felt very safe and in good hands the entire time.

The experience is really nice and I recommend it. The only problem is the amount of people they place per balloon. Our balloon was really crowded and we had to share a really small space with two other people. Also be aware that the "champagne" is actually a sip of sparkling wine with juice :)
