We made the booking via Getyourguide but the excursion was actually arranged through a company called Lokafy who aim to provide a local to walk around the city with you to provide a very personal and candid view of the city. I was impressed that Lokafy bother to contact me to ensure I understood the type of guide I would be meeting and that it would not be a lecture of dates and facts. Our guide, Fred was really great and walked around Cape Town with us for four hours; the experience was like being hosted by a friend who gave you a personal insight into the places you were visiting. Some communication with Fred ahead of our meeting had given some specific interests and he went out of his way to try to include these in the itinerary for our walk. We covered a large area from V&A Waterfront, through the City centre and Bo-Kaap, Fred was aware it was our first day in Cape Town and made is feel safe (but streetwise) as we walked around. It was a fantastic orientation tour-recommended.

I really enjoyed my run with Patrick. We had spectacular views of the city, the temperature was very agreeable in the morning and the tempo was perfect. I highly recommend it :)

We had a great time. Justin was a really good tour guide. Sociable few hours with 8 of us on the tour from 3 continents. Wonderful food and pairings. Would highly recommend.

We had a fascinating visit to District Six and the District Six Museum with our guide Mzwandile from Honest Travel Cape Town. He was very knowledgable and a real gentleman.

It was a fun afternoon and our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
