Being in Cape Town, visiting the Zeitz MOCAA stood high on my bucket list. To make sure I would get in I booked a ticket online the evening prior to my visit. Unfortunately I was unable to download the actual ticket. Something for Get your Guide to took into. At the museum I had to produce this ticket which apparently had a barcode. I couldn't! I was very lucky that a charming man Michael who is a guide at the museum, was at the entrance and offered to sort out my problem, downloading my ticket on his laptop. Without any further ado I was allowed entrance to the museum. Thanks very much Michael. You really were a guardian angel for me that day.

Selbst für Menschen die sich nicht groß für Kunst interessieren, ist dieses Museum unbedingt einen Besuch wert! Die Architektur und Wirkung des Gebäudes im Inneren sind wirklich faszinierend und auch die afrikanische Kunst und einige Installationen entlocken ein Staunen!

Ausstellungsobjekte unterliegen ja immer einer subjektiven Betrachtung. Sehr viele Objekte gefielen mir ausgesprochen gut, manche sprachen mich gar nicht an und manche fand ich schrecklich. Mir fiel auf, daß einige Künstler aus der UK oder USA stammen - sind diese ursprünglich aus Afrika stammend? Sonst würde es nicht ins Konzept passen..
