We were picked up at our hotel and briefed about what to expect that day. As the only two people on the tour, we were advised that we could alter the itinerary to suit. Warren was a brilliant guide; his enthusiasm was infectious. We drove along the Atlantic coast, and along Chapman's Peak Drive which was stunning. We visited Hout Bay, Llandudno, Scarborough, etc. The whole peninsula is awesome. The landscape is stunning; we saw ostrich families and baboons playing/resting. We inspected the fynbos at several places. After visiting the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, we hopped onto the cycles. There was a slight problem with one of them, but this was quickly swapped for the spare that Warren had been towing as he followed us. We cycled from Cape Point to Simon's Town. The views across False Bay were spectacular. After lunch near Boulders Beach, we walked across to visit the penguins. Warren has a tremendous knowledge for the area, and we learnt a great deal. We had a brilliant time.
Amazing experience on the “e” bike tour through wine estates which was such fun and the bikes are easy to ride ( meaning you don’t have to put in any effort to get up hills! - so easy it is like someone pushing you uphill). For those looking for something different try it and you won’t be disappointed. Fantastic organisers and special shout out to Makhtar & Michael who supplied lots of local history of Cape Town wines throughout the tour and arranged fabulous wine tasting sessions and some of the most picturesque views. The best tour we have attended in Cape Town without doubt, regards the Leeds Utd couple from Yorkshire
It is worth to do this trip. Even more when you exlpore the cape with the bike. Climb up to the lighthouse and the view will blow you away. Guide was great, he told a lot about the area, the country, the culture, the history and the nature.
Wonderful trip - I had a private tour with Eduard (my guide) - everything went smooth and it was super cool to cycle E-bikes with 42km/h WOOHOOO
Michael was informative, personable and I thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent together touring the peninsula.
