Make your way to the V&A Waterfront Helipad to check in about 15 to 20 minutes before your scheduled shared helicopter flight over the city and coast. Get a safety briefing on arrival, and then proceed to the beautiful flight deck to see the operation up close and personal while you wait to board your flight. Climb aboard a helicopter and start your adventure with a complete circle around Table Mountain. Continue over the city to see Cape Town Stadium, one of the venues of the 2010 World Cup. Then, travel down the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, passing Signal Hill, Camps Bay and Clifton Beach along the way. Get bird's eye views of the luxury homes, and marvel at the mountains of the Twelve Apostles as you head for Karbonkelberg Mountain. Soar over historic Hout Bay, and then cross the Cape Peninsula to move from one ocean to the other. See if you can tell where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Indian Ocean near False Bay. Watch as the terrain changes from sandy beaches to rolling hills to rugged cliffs. Then fly over Muizenberg Beach and keep your eye out for shadows in the water – they might be great white sharks! Head back towards Cape Town on the other side of Table Mountain, and get a different view of Cape Town's most famous landmark and its surrounding landscape. Pass over the pretty vineyards of the Constantia Valley before landing back at the V&A Waterfront Helipad.

3. Gansbaai Eco-Friendly Shark Cage Diving

If the transfer option is selected, your adventure will start pickup from your hotel in Cape Town. Take a 2.5-hour drive along a scenic route to get to your destination - the Great White House. Once there, enjoy a breakfast or lunch before a safety briefing about what to expect. Then, stroll to the harbor to board a dedicated shark-diving vessel. Journey to Dyer Island in 20 minutes and drop anchor where the sharks reside. Your boat will have all the amenities, along with drinks and snacks for your comfort. Collect your waterproof bag containing your dive kit and then get up close to these magnificent animals in their natural environment, protected of course by a cage. You'll be completely safe, but your adrenaline will be pumping like crazy! This is sure to be an experience you will never forget. Travel through shark alley if conditions permit before returning to land for a debriefing and a warm bowl of soup. Then, enjoy free entry to the African penguin and seabird sanctuary on your way back to Cape Town (if option selected).

Visit the Dyer Island eco-system and have the opportunity to spot the Marine Big 5: whales, sharks, seals, dolphins and penguins. Every year from June to December, the southern right whales arrive to mate and calve. Witness mating displays, breaching, tail slapping, spy-hopping and more. You may also see Bryde’s whales, humpback whales, the elusive humpback dolphin and the common dolphin. An incredible array of seabirds and a sighting of the almost 60,000-strong Cape fur seal colony on Geyser Rock is guaranteed as the boat cruises down the famous Shark Alley. An on-board marine biologist will be on hand to teach you more about the amazing animals that visit these shores. On the day of your trip, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cape Town or Hermanus, if you have selected an option with transfers included. Upon arrival in Gansbaai, enjoy coffee/tea and muffins while listening to a dedicated safety briefing. After you're fitted with inflatable life jackets and wet-weather gear, take a 200 meter stroll down to the harbor to board the whale-watching vessel. Time spent on sea on average is two hours depending on sea conditions and marine life activity.  Upon return to land, receive an informative debrief while enjoying warm soup and bread. Professional trip footage is also available to purchase after the trip, so that you can have a permanent memory of your sightings. If you have chosen the option with transfers from Cape Town, a visit to the African Penguin and Seabird Sanctuary is also included on your way back. You'll see the important efforts being made to rehabilitate injured and sick animals.

Be collected from your accommodation in Cape Town at around 9:00 AM by a Mercedes Benz C-class, Hyundai H1, Toyota Quantum GL, or Mercedes Benz Sprinter for larger groups. Head out on your full-day tour of the Cape Peninsula with a qualified guide. If this is your first time in Cape Town, you will be taken on a 30-minute city orientation tour before heading out.  Travel along the Atlantic seaboard, driving between the mountains and the ocean, and pass through Bantry Bay, Clifton, Camps Bay, Llandudno, and Chapman's Peak. Make a photograph stop at Maiden's Cove. Stop in Hout Bay, where you will have the option of taking a boat to Seal Island. For lunch, you can enjoy the fresh seafood at harbor eateries. Alternatively, a light meal will be available further on at Noordhoek village, along with the best coffee this side of the Cape at Roast Village.  Next, set off for the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the Cape Point lighthouse, a popular stop for photographs. You may also encounter some baboons and other wildlife. Enjoy an optional wine tasting of the region’s best Sauvignon Blanc at Cape Point Vineyard or a stop at the Cape Point ostrich farm. Continue to Simon’s Town to see the monument of the Great Dane dog who made his own history in the South African Navy. Visit Boulder's Beach and see the penguin colony. Return to Cape Town and pass through Fish Hoek and Muizenburg, via the Old Cape Road, with an optional stop at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, if time allows. You can be dropped off at your accommodation or a restaurant of your choice in Cape Town.
