Full description
Join this nature-lovers activity to go on a 6-hour guided excursion into a UNESCO-listed nature reserve in search of thrilling rock-jumping opportunities. Your tour begins with a mild hike through the Steenbras Nature Reserve to the natural rock pools known as “Crystal Pools”. You’ll be submerged in the beauty of the Fynbos floral kingdom as you’re guided along the 2-kilometer hike to the pools.
Once you arrive at the pools, you can choose what you’d like to do: go swimming in the pools, or relax alongside them and enjoy the picturesque surroundings of one of the Western Cape’s best nature reserves. For adrenaline junkies, the pools have a number of rock jumps that range from 7 meters to 22 meters high.
Your day concludes with a healthy lunch and a few drinks at a “sundowners” location.
