What people are saying about Canical

Excellent experience! Charlotte and Nono were both fantastic and very accommodating. Constantly kept us informed on schedule, timing and plans which is always appreciated. Would definitely recommend Lido tours to friends and family. The walk itself is set at a slow to mid pace out there (handy as Charlotte has lots of nuggets of information about the setting) but you have the freedom to walk at your own leisure on the way back which is great.

This is a great hike. It has everything from farming to plant life and scenery that is breathtaking The guide Charlotte was great , knowledgeable, engaging and her enthusiasm about showing off all the different aspects of the island was amazing. Well worth the trip and highly recommended. A mention to our driver also who has to wait for us at the end while we quenched our thirst.

It was a great tour with a great guide! She had a lot of good information on the very varied route and was able to provide us with hidden unique views due to her connection to the area. A very nice experience. English, Portuguese, French and also a little German spoke directly to all participants.

Definitely a super nice tour in terms of landscape, and if the weather cooperates with one of the most beautiful hikes on Madeira!!!!

A demanding hike but so beautiful and spectacular.
