Full description

In this tour, your guide will give you an in-depth tour of Chichen Itza. Listen as they provide background information to help you better understand the history of this place. End the tour with lunch at a local restaurant.

Beat the crowds and the heat by arriving early in the morning at the Chichen Itza Archeological Site. Be the first to enter this Wonder of the World and take amazing pictures with the place almost completely to yourself.

Learn how this large city played an important role in Mayan civilization from around 600 AD to 1200 AD and remained a center of worship and pilgrimage until the arrival of the Spaniards. The site was abandoned and its ruins were eventually hidden by the jungle.

In between the tour, enjoy a typical Mexican buffet lunch at a local family-run restaurant. Swimming at the Saamal Cenote (entry included) and a visit to Valladolid are also on the itinerary.

Thank you for the wonderful tour to Marco, the driver (Ishmael) and Chichen Itza guide, Rodrigo. Very informative and interesting ! It makes me want to learn more about this wonder. I was glad the schedule made us skip the crowd. It was worth waking up at 3am. 10/10 would recommend

was fine! A lot cheaper than most providers and one of the few that makes the combination Chitzen Itza and an open Cenote! We work picked up at hotel (Puerto Aventuras) and dropped off in Playa del Carmen where we were picked up by a big bus (incl. toilet). This was not clear to us beforehand. Also Chitzen Itza was very chaotic, there were 2 rows, 1 for the entrance and 1 for a contribution and also had to pay another 50 pesos for my Gopro. I recommend buying the tickets in advance, saves a lot of confusion and lines. Furthermore, a great excursion, good value for money and you see everything with explanation from the guide. Group size was very large!

This tour was amazing! With the help of our tour guides Frank and Rodrigo and Alfredo as bus driver it couldn't be any better! They showed us the must-see attractions and gave insides into the Mayas' life from the point of view of a half-Mayan which was fun and stunning at the same time! Really recommend this tour!
