Explore the rainforest on a 6-wheel drive World War II Army Duck amphibious vehicle over land and water. Your experienced duck driver will help you search for wildlife and teach you about the plants and trees that make up the surrounding rainforest. After your tour, you can sample exotic fruits and locally made ice cream at a Tropical Treats fruit orchard.  Then, take the shuttle bus from Rainforestation Nature Park to Kuranda Village. Once in the village, you have free time to explore the markets and shops. At the end of your day, you will travel back to Cairns via the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway over a pristine rainforest with the canopy just meters beneath you. I enjoyed the train ride up to Kurunda and the gondola ride down the mountain. the shopping was fine I enjoyed the different restaurants and the Duck ride. The guide for the Duck ride made the ride more interesting. He pointed out different trees and what plants to stay away from. The area where the trees names are displayed was very helpful.

Great company with much integrity! We had an amazing tour for 6 people from Cairns to Kuranda and back. They tour via train was fantastic and relaxing! Our tour guides were all friendly on transport and the army duck tour guide was very knowledgeable. The skyrail back was breathtaking! I highly recommend this company to anybody else wishing to travel due to the honesty, reliability and friendly nature of all staff involved! Once again the experience was truly amazing and we would love to travel with them again the future. Well done tropic wings! Highly recommended!

It's the third time I go through Tropic Wings to do this excursion with different family members, so that's a testimony to the trust I place in them and their general organization. Kuranda is great, the rainforestation Park is amazing, the telepheric is breath taking and the train is scenic The one downside is the time it takes to pick up/wait for/drop off so many people - I feel we spent a third of the day doing that. Smaller buses would be better, I would pay more for that.
