Great flight, seen everything, all participants are sitting at the window, all figges are approached from both sides. The day before the weather wasn't so good, we were rebooked for the next day free of charge, the pilot explained all the reefs in detail. We were shuttled back the day before for free.

It was an amazing tour, being able to see how the barrier reef is off Cairns and learn how the smaller outcrops eventually turn into larger coral reefs which in turn could eventually become a small island. I was lucky enough to to have undertaken this on on very clear day.

I was alone, but I felt safe and enjoyed myself. It happened to be a seat next to the pilot, and it was a very good experience. I was a little worried that there was no Japanese impression here, but I can enjoy it enough! The explanation is in English, but the meeting place is also just outside the city by Uber.
