Visit one of Cádiz's most fascinating and long-standing watchtowers with an entry ticket to the Tavira Tower. See the sprawling city views beneath you from its rooftop, and visit its 2 exhibition halls.

Walk up the Tavira Tower — a focal point of cultural interest in Cádiz. Situated at the highest lookout point in the old town, the tower witnessed the trade and prosperity of the region in the 17th and 18th centuries. See what that prosperity created by looking out onto the city.

During your visit, go through the tower's 2 exhibition halls and make the most of the most scenic views of the city from the rooftop.

In the first hall, learn what a Camera Obscura is and discover other Cameras Obscuras in the world. In the second hall, learn about the city's 18th century history, and finally, take in a 360-degree view of the entire city from the open rooftop terrace.

Very nice view, narrow steps but less strenuous than expected (even if you are pregnant). The only deduction because the booked ticket did not include an audio guide. Go there in the morning during the week, then it's a bit more relaxed

Darkroom activity was not shown to us. Otherwise, you can see Cadiz from up there (the highest watchtower). Some explanatory boards on the evolution of the city over time are well done. Value for money ok.
