Afterwards, travel up to the magnificent 1,902-feet high, glass balcony view point of Cabo Girão, famous for being the highest in Europe and second-highest cliff in the world. Traveling along the coast of the island, arrive shorty at the village of Ribeira Brava, where you can visit a church dating back to the 15th century. Next, make your way to the 3,303-feet high viewpoint, Encumeada, to enjoy beautiful views over both the north and south coasts of the island, as well as the valleys of Ribeira Brava and São Vicente. From an altitude of between 4,200-4,900 feet, find the tourist attraction Paúl de Serra and it's several levada walks that connect to different points of the island through the Laurissilva forest, such as Rabaçal, Risco, and the 25 fountains. On the descent toward the town, enjoy fantastic views, especially those of the volcanic pools in their entirety. In the good weather it is possible to take a dip, so come prepared. Next, enjoy a brief stop overlooking the black sandy beach and natural rock pools of Seixal village. A little more expensive than other tours, but it was worth it. Pick up at the hotel in a 4x4, go up to a bar to have a quick coffee and continue until the start of the levada. A pleasant walk with no difficulties (just some very steep stairs half way back). The tour leaves relatively early because many tourists accumulate on the same route and at the destination. Tour by jeep through a eucalyptus forest to a rural restaurant, in the middle of the mountains. Good food, very large portions at very reasonable prices. After lunch to the skywalk to appreciate the height of the island and back to the hotel.

Fernando was a great guide, very friendly and with a good sense of humour. A great way to see the main points of interest! We discovered Madeira during the stops and on the trips in the van between points, in which the guide attentively comments on everything we see around us. Very good and for all ages.

The trip was excellent. Helped by good weather in the main although a little drizzle late on. Good value for money. Guide very knowledgeable and amusing.Great nformation given at the various stop points.

Great activity and an interesting walk. The 4x4 helps as you can get to places that no other vehicle can get to. The waterfall was awesome as well.

Super fun trip through the interior of Madeira with a levada walk to the 25 Fontes, accompanied by an enthusiastic guide.
