The longest cave of Budapest is the 32 kilometers long Pál-völgyi-Mátyás-hegyi cave system in the Duna-Ipoly National Park. It’s a multi-level labyrinth system where most of the chambers lie under the residential districts of Budapest. The scheduled cave tours are guided by qualified caving guides. During the adventure, you will climb on walls and crawl through narrow passages. Marvel at the natural parts of the cave under the supervision of a professional caving guide (all guides are qualified members of the Hungarian Caving Association). What people are saying about Budapest

Get your guide led us safely to the meeting point with the directions. There our guide Vicky welcomed us very warmly and even in perfect German. The tour was then in English. Vicky explained everything in a very understandable and clear way and also included one or the other funny story. We had 36 degrees that day, so it was also a great way to cool down in the caves! So all in all a successful event and only to be recommended!

The directions to the meeting point worked fine. Our guide did an excellent job of informing us of the history of the caves and I found it interesting and lovely and cool to be in 12° when it was a hot day on the surface

Great tour! Super interesting to see a "row" cave and learn the history behind it. Thre guide was nice and took care well of the visitors. I recommend! :-)

We had an incredible experience on our tour - such a special way to experience Buda and our guide was knowledgeable and passionate.

A very interesting look at 2 caves. I appreciated the contrast between the two. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining.
