Full description

Begin your day with a comfortable drive north to Esztergom, the center of Hungarian Christianity. Pay a visit to its renowned Basilica and enjoy a guided visit to marvel at the view that the cupola offers. Head to Slovakia to see the great view from the River Bank and see the old Turkis Church ruins. Make several stops by the Danube river where nature dominates. Continue your journey and head towards the small town of Visegrd, where you can visit the famous Royal Castle and the home of the renowned yearly Knights' Tournament at the Lower Castle. Enjoy a 3-course lunch at a traditional restaurant. Then, begin to make your way back, to Budapest. The last stop on the tour is in the beautiful town of Szentendre. Enjoy a guided walking tour through Szentendre's baroque town center and enjoy shopping for some souvenirs. Between 13 April and 27 October, you can return to Budapest by boat, except on a Monday.

What a lovely host! Gabor ensured that we enjoyed the beautiful drive as well as his company. We had a good time seeing the places and listening to the tour guide share his knowledge about everything we saw and every place we visited. We were three ladies and we found the service safe and professional. One of the best ideas for a day trip from Budapest!

So worth it!

Sofia was so full of knowledge and kindness. The private tour for 3 of us was worth the money. Lunch to try Hungarian soups and desserts delicious.
