A nice opportunity to enjoy a relaxing one-hour evening at the church. The scenery is very nice. The music includes short pieces of famous classical songs. The orchestra was good, although small. A couple of pieces were accompanied by singing (opera). We booked for category A, but I believe that the tickets were very expensive. We would have equally enjoyed the concert, if we had booked in category B or even C. The viewing is more or less the same.
This was marvellous However, I didn’t actually attend the one I bought as that had organ music. I thought I had been very careful NOT to select an organ music concert. The lady on the door allowed me to use my ticket to see a concert at St Anne’s church instead on the Friday night, which was shorter and I believe slightly cheaper - but it was Marvellous!
It was a nice evening. Started late tho. The food was good, would be nice to put labels or names of the food. Us foreigners would love to know what we ate. Just names then we can google the ingredients. Musicians are really good and entertaining. Very nice ambiance. A must experience when you visit the city/river.
The staff was super friendly and extremely organized. The buffet had good Hungarian food. It also came with a free champagne and a glass of wine, which was fantastic! We also really enjoyed the live music! We definitely recommend it!
Most enjoyable evening - organist, violinist, trumpet, tenor and soprano. Beautiful versions of Ave Maria - dress warm
