London Vintage Bus Tour, Thames Cruise, Fish & Chips
- Duration: 4.5 hours
Visit the Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace and soak up its extravagance. The building that originally stood on the site of the current Queen’s Gallery was designed by John Nash as one of Buckingham Palace’s three identical conservatories or pavilions in the form of Ionic temples. It was constructed on the south-west corner of the Palace, facing the garden, and was completed in 1831. The conservatory was converted into a private chapel for Queen Victoria in 1843, but destroyed in an air raid in 1940. At the suggestion of The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, it was redeveloped as a gallery for the Royal Collection in 1962. The current Queen’s Gallery was opened by Her Majesty The Queen in May 2002, as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations. It hosts a programme of changing exhibitions from the Royal Collection.

Our guide Jo was not only incredibly knowledgeable about- Everything!, but she always put us in exactly the right spot at the right time for fantastic access! Did I mention her sense of humor? She had us laughing constantly; her historical remarks were highlighted with humorous anecdotes with perfect timing! The Crown Jewels and armor exhibit at the Tower rival any traditional museum visit, and we saw the Horse Guard change at the palace after a very pleasant river excursion on the Thames. Great Tour!

We enjoyed the Food Tour very much. The guide was very good and friendly. He had a lot of knowledge about the city and knew an answer to all our questions. It was the best activity we did in London. We also enjoyed the British food. This activity is highly recommended!
Brilliant tour, our guide Chris was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and the history too. Make sure you have a good breakfast as the food stop is right at the end of the tour at Borough market.
Super fun! Got a video of the changing of the guards! My tour guide was wonderful! Then the boat ride was great! Best part was the fish and chips meal at an authentic pub!
