Branca Tower Entrance Ticket

1. Branca Tower Entrance Ticket

In the 1930s, Milan built its totem in the clearing of Parco Sempione. Designed by Gio Ponti, this tower is considered a true work of art in which modern architecture and new techniques meet. Slim and transparent, a true architectural challenge, it was erected in record time – just two and a half months. The beautiful casing and wall, facing the side of the park in high-strength transparent crystal, allow a perspective view of the tower from the inside. Made from a special steel, flanged and bolted, the tower is 108.60 meters high. Today, a modern elevator can bring 7 people at a time to the top in less than one minute.

2. Milan: Tour Parco Sempione with aperitif on the Branca Tower

Visit Branca Tower, an iron structure that offers by elevator an ascent to a terrace overlooking the city. Observe from the terrace the Castello Sforzesco, and a little further away from the monuments of the historic center, the new neighborhoods and modern glass cathedrals, and the mountains. At one of the most iconic towers of Milan, take the opportunity to admire the city from another point of view. From an exceptional site, we will recognize the most important monuments and buildings of Milan, with the help of our guide. Enjoy an aperitif on the high up, private area of the terrace at Branca tower, and let the architecture and nature of the landscape soak in.

Worth every penny - the views from the top are so worth the ticket price, particularly given we were lucky with a clear day despite it being mid-November. The lift to the top was kept safe as we were asked to wear a face covering (provided by staff at the ticket office at foot of tower) and there were only six or so people allowed up in the lift at any one time. Although you can book a specific time in reality it was a case of first come-first served with a ticket numbering system but we only waited about ten minutes before it was our turn which was painless as there was plenty to look at and read at the foot of the tower anyway.

Good experience! It was Sunday morning, there was no line when it opened, we went up straight away. The manager is a very courteous, helpful person, he tells really interesting things. We were helped by a beautiful sunny day which allowed us to fully enjoy the beauty of the 360 degree view. Unfortunately, for obvious reasons, the stop at the top is limited to 6 minutes, so we'll be back!

Nagyon nagy élmény felmmenni és onnét megnézni Milánot. A személyzet nagyon kedves, türelmesen kivárta amíg bámészkodtam.
