Full description
This half-day inflatable kayak tour is ideal for those looking for something more challenging than rafting, but who don’t have a lot of experience with kayaking. Due to their design, the one-person Guppy and the two-person Ducky are much more stable than the traditional plastic kayak, making learning how to control them much easier.  Perfect for beginners or intermediate kayakers, you are offered a choice between a beginner (Class I-II) and an intermediate (Class II-III) route. Begin with a briefing from your expert guide: learn about the river, safety procedures, and paddling techniques. Then, kayak down the most popular sections of the beautiful river, Soča.  The first section of the river is easier, so you have some time to practice what you've learned. The second section is longer and more fun, replete with a stunning open gorge with big rocks, waves, and rapids (Class II-III). During the journey, enjoy a refreshing pitstop, where you’ll have a chance to jump around between rocks or try swimming down an easy rapid.

Adventurous trip on 'easy' whitewater. However, I did not find it very easy, often got stuck at the back of the group and had to transfer to the instructor's boat at the beginning, there was a good response. Partner, however, thought it was fun and doable. Keep in mind that you have to walk for about ten minutes over rocky landscape towards the water, in your tight and warm swimming suit, with a heavy kayak and paddle on your shoulder. This was disappointing to us, especially because it was not mentioned anywhere.

Super nice tour

I have never kayaked in a single kayak before and was persuaded to try it on this tour. And I was not disappointed, it was awesome, a nice guide with a lot of patience and an overview all alone for the two of us, bright sunshine and a soca so blue and refreshing ... it couldn't be better.

Die Kajaktour auf der Soca war wirklich toll. Was man vorher wissen sollte, dass die Tour nicht ganz anspruchslos ist. Also man sollte voher schon mal Kajak gefahren sein.
