Had an amazing time exploring the city on a guided tour. As foreigners my friends and I weren’t sure where to explore for nightlife. Júlia was an awesome tour guide and gave us some insight on the city as well as great local bars and clubs that we went to. We met lots of new people while out, and made new memories we will cherish for years to come. A fantastic experience that I would definitely recommend and do again if I come back to Rio.

An excellent tour with a great tour guide with vast knowledge of the Favela. Completely changed perception of Favelas from what is reported in the press. A very humbling experience and a must if visiting Rio.

We did the tour with Juliana and it was great! She gave us a lot of information about how people live and organize in Santa Marta and the walk down the favela was really nice!! Totally recommended :)

Excellent tour. I think everyone should take this tour. Our tour guide, Phillippe was wonderfully, very inciteful and humbling. I learned much about the favela and it's people.

First It is too expensive, but it worths it in the end. Take more cash with you. It is safe and you might want to donate.
