Excellent narration about the harbor area. It was a great way to get to Salem. It was a rainy day but the ferry has indoor seating, so it was fine. It doesn’t go too far offshore, so it wasn’t very rough. Nice FREE trolley to take you in to Essex St in downtown Salem and also provided a return to Ferry Wharf.

On time, friendly, clean, provided points if interest and historical information along the route. Lots of seats and plenty of room to walk around as well. We didn’t make a purchase but they did offer snacks and drinks. We were able to take our luggage since we were staying overnight in Salem. Really fun experience!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience

As a family of three we travelled to Salem by Fast Ferry, exceptional service and the guide on board described various points of interest throughout the journey. An added bonus! Word of advice though, it is called a Fast Ferry, so you may want to take a hoodie or jacket with you to combat the sea breeze!
