Full description

Follow the story of the American Revolution chronologically through the streets of Boston on this guided walking tour. Enjoy a tour that places a lot less emphasis on the facts and the dates and a lot more on the passions, personalities, and psychologies driving the events.

See historic landmarks where events such as the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, the Battle of Bunker Hill, and the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere occurred.

As you walk around, the sightseeing is synchronized with and unfolds to the storytelling. During the tour, begin to connect the characters, moments, and landmarks together, following the story from the settling of Boston to the Declaration of Independence. This tour is designed for the curious visitor who wants to do more than just scratch the surface.

The tour guide, Mike, has two degrees in history. On this tour, you will learn the details of the stories that led to the American Revolution, including key figures that you may not have learned about in school. Mike’s energy and enthusiasm make the three plus hours fly by. You don’t lose interest at all. We went on this tour because my husband is an avid history buff. He absolutely loved every minute and has been reading up on what he learned on the tour all week. I enjoyed the tour as well, even though history is not high on my list of interests. Highly recommend to anyone who can walk or stand consistently for over three hours.

This tour was awesome! Mike, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and detailed about the history of Boston, and all the landmarks we visited. Mike told us about the prominent Bostonians in the American Revolution, and the tour highlighted the history. I highly recommend this tour if you have never been to Boston, or if you are a history buff.

This is a fantastic tour taking you through the heart of Boston and back in time to the heart of America. Mike reveals hidden gems, overlooked viewpoints, and special areas of Boston while providing a fresh, engaging history of the American Revolution and how the events that lead up to that pivotal moment shaped both that conflict, America as it has developed since independence and our world today. As long time Boston residents it brought to life many areas we have often passed by and visited in a new and compelling way.
