Full description
Our high-speed catamarans are the fastest, most comfortable way to view the ocean's most fascinating and magnificent creatures. Getting you to and from the whales in less time means you get to spend more time actually watching them. Our catamarans feature 3 outside decks for optimum viewing capability. Inside you'll find climate-controlled cabin space with cushioned seating, tables, state-of-the-art sound and video systems, and a galley offering snacks and beverages for purchase. Professional researchers from the Whale Center of New England, the region's foremost authority on whale populations, are onboard for every trip to provide narration. Want to feel what it's like to join them? Get the chance to see: Humpback Whales The humpback’s name comes from the way its back arches out of the water when preparing for a deep dive. “Megaptera” is its true scientific name which means “large-winged,” in reference to its long flippers. Finback Whales Finbacks are second only to Blue Whales in overall size, measuring in at 45-70 feet in length and weighing approximately 40 tons as full-grown adults. Minke Whales A sleek, small dolphin-like baleen whale, Minkes are the most abundant whale in the world today with a population numbering well over one million worldwide. White Sided Dolphins Found only in the North Atlantic, in waters just south of New England north to Norway, these playful mammals feed on single prey such as squid, unlike whales that feast on large numbers of small fish.

We saw two humpback wells, and the guides could identify the specific individuals from their tail patterns! Given the long length of time of the experience, it was an excellent value for the money. The tour guides were entertaining and absolutely great and very knowledgeable, and the food was tasty and reasonably priced. It was a great experience altogether, whether by yourself or with the family!

me and my friend went on 18th May 2021. The staff is very friendly and there is someone on each level of the cruise. We saw a juvenile whale and it showed itself for a while. However, the guide did say so much activity was rare. Further ahead we saw the backs of 2 adult whales. It took us about 4 hours. I was a bit homesick middle of the way because of a high tide. Else I am very impressed and it was worth it. I would totally recommend.
