Full description
Peddle through the famous vineyards of St-Emilion on this electric cycling day trip from Bordeaux. Visit two chateaux and a charming family-run wine estate, as well as a Great Classified Growth estate, and the Unesco-listed village of St-Emilion.  Start the day with a short drive (50 min) to the St-Emilion region. Begin by touring the charming village of St-Emilion which has been classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1999, then the e-bike tour will take you to see famous wineries like Petrus or Château Cheval Blanc. Cycle through lush vineyards by bike and arrive at the first chateau which is run by a local family. Walk through the vineyards and learn about the estate’s traditional way of making wine. Savor a wine tasting and continue to the garden for a flavorful lunch.  Explore the estate on a guided tour and learn about their winemaking process from the vine to the bottle. This was a great day in the French countryside. The day started with a drive to a Chateaux where we collected our bicycles and biked around the beutiful vineyards and some famous Chateauxs. We then came back from lunch and wine tasting before biking to a 2nd Chateaux for a tour and wine tasting. A final stop in Saint Emilion was a great end to the day. We had beautiful weather for October and would happily do this activity again.

The cycle is doable for nearly everybody. some hills but very manageable on the good bike that have been provided. Excellent explanations , nice lunch. The Vineyard visit was good too. Enjoyed the sparkling wine visit of Les cloitres des cordeliers, however they left a big opportunity idle with the caves to demonstrate in some way the making of sparkling wine

What a GREAT day! The bikes were well-maintained, easy riding, and the vineyard tours were great. Hugo, our guide, was engaging, fun and knowledgeable! We learned a lot about the history of the region, wine classifications, and history of St Emilion.
