This was the perfect activity for our first afternoon in Bologna. We met Jessica and her friend at 3:00, enjoyed caffé “shakerato” (delicious iced coffee) with them, and received our map and vouchers. Since we had just arrived from California, we were awake but fairly brain dead and spent an hour or two walking around on our own and hitting a few of the places with the vouchers. It was great fun and we were already beginning get to know our way around. Jessica could not have been more delightful, and all the places she recommended were friendly and terrific. I have always thought this guideless type of activity would be perfect for travelers who want to discover things on their own, but this is the first time I’ve ever found one. Highly recommended.
Such a great experience for your first day in the city! A really useful map is handed over with all landmarks pointed out and all food for the day included with vouchers. We had wine, gelato, 2 course lunch and even local appetisers to taste all at different places around the city. You first meet a tour rep to receive your map and vouchers, where we sat with Sonia for over an hour having coffee. She told us all her favourite places and even shared a great recipe for Carbonara! Highly recommend.
I am so lucky to get to this place with a Train tour. Very well organized, the amazing road to Basilica, and the biggest bonus is the view from the top hill from the San Luca! Must see! Very appreciated to the Tour Organization! Thanks a million! :)
Very good experience. The host was a professional chef and he was very nice. Learned how to make home made tagliatelle, tortelloni, and ragù. Recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to make typical Italian cuisine dishes.
Antonio was a fantastic tour guide and host. Loved his passion about everything and more importantly, he helped us cook fantastic food. overall, a brilliant experience
