Super value for money. Nice way to see and appreciate a part of Bologna. The Basilica is magnificent. We arrived a little late at the meeting point, but they were very kind and understanding and adjusted. I can't remember the name of the person who took charge of the tasting, but he is an archaeologist by profession who speaks French and we had fascinating conversations. I loved it and so did my 2 teens.

TOTAL waste of money, this tour is a scam. You can purchase the train ticket seperatly for less than half the price of the ticket. There is no such thing as a priority line once the train pulls up as everyone just races to the train. The "tasting" is a voucher to a chocolate tasting (even though the voucher states you get one mini hot chocolate and that's it) were the staff with very little English gave us an expresso and that was it. The other tasting place was closed. (The voucher states at this tasting you get one piece of mortedella and a cracker). There is no guide on the train or for the tasting. So all in all you are paying around 15€ for the tasting, if you can call it that. Save your money and buy the exact same train ticket seperatly from the same meeting place. There should be a 0 star option.

The view was worth the trip

Although it was raining, there was shelter in the train, so it was ok. The view when we got there was all worth it and can definitely be recommended. There were no problems down to find the train back down.
