Meet your experienced bilingual guide in Bogotá and start the day with a traditional Columbian breakfast at an authentic hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Then, set off by private van to La Chorrera. Drive past the East Hills on the way and stop to take pictures of the paramo of Cruz Verde. Arrive at the park and begin the approximately 3-hour round-trip hike through the lush, green Andean forest, learning about the native life and plants of the area. Continue your trek to reach the 1,936-foot (590-meter) wall of cascading water that is La Chorrera. Take in the breathtaking sight of Colombia's mightiest waterfall amid a wonderland of natural beauty.     Throughout the hike, see and learn about the colorful birds hidden at the top of the trees and breathe in the clean air in this spectacular landscape.   Refuel with lunch at a beautiful restaurant and marvel at the spectacular views here before heading back to Bogotá.

The tour begins at 7:00 AM in the reception of your hotel or accommodation. Then, go to Calera town and taste the sweet water of panela with an arepa de maiz. Then head to Chingaza National Park, located in the Eastern Cordillera of the Colombian Andes, northeast of Bogotá. At the entrance of the natural reserve, you will pick up your local guide.  The guide will take you through the trails and paths of this paradise. The tour lasts between 3 and 6 hours, depending on your resistance. You will see the lagoon of Buitrago or the lagoon of Siecha. If you are lucky, you may see spectacled bears and deer. The tour will end with an incredible view of the mountain before returning to the city of Bogotá.

Discover San Agustín, Colombia’s most recognized archaeological destination, on this memorable 3-day adventure. Known for its impressive natural richness and stunning mountainous landscapes, San Agustín is the location of a mysterious indigenous group that built hundreds of gigantic stone sculptures before disappearing.   Night 1: You’ll be picked up at your hotel in Bogotá at 8:00 PM and taken to the bus terminal, where you’ll continue your journey to San Agustín in a 10 to 12-hour overnight coach ride to the south of the country.   Day 1: When you arrive, a local guide will take you to your hotel to settle in and have breakfast. At 1:00 PM, you’ll be taken to San Agustín’s main archaeological park. Visit Luis Duque Gómez Museum, Fuente del Lavapatas, and Alto del Lavapatas. You’ll be amazed by the enigmatic stone sculptures and learn in detail about their possible meanings from an expert guide. Afterwards, you’ll head back to your hotel.   Day 2: After breakfast, head out at 8:00 AM to tour through San Agustín’s Touristic Peripheral Zone, where you’ll be amazed by archaeological wonders, impressive waterfalls, and stunning mountainscapes. Go to Alto de los Idolos Park, known for having the largest monolith in San Agustín. Visit a natural park, Obando Museum, and two beautiful waterfalls. When the day is over, you can choose to stay in town for dinner or head back to your hotel.   Day 3: After breakfast, you’ll be picked up at 8:00 AM for a horseback ride through 4 important archaeological sites: El Tablón, La Chaquira, Purutal, and La Pelota. This ride by horseback requires no experience; however, if you prefer, you may take a Jeep along the same route instead. After 1:00 PM, have the rest of the afternoon to yourself before departing for Bogotá at 6:00 PM. You’ll arrive in the city and be taken back to your hotel at around 6:00 AM the next day.

Just a short drive from Bogotá, the highest waterfall in Colombia lies waiting: La Chorrera de Choachí. Join this hike to the Mountains of the Moon and explore La Chorrera. Explore this amazing natural park and learn about the peculiarities of these cloud forests. Thick with vegetation and often mist, these forests are filled with an alluring mystique. First visit the smaller waterfall, the 55-meter tall El Chiflón, before delving deeper into the park. Learn about the park’s history, the local ecosystem, and recent challenges. Deeper inside the park, you’ll find La Chorrera: a tiered 590-meter tall waterfall. Take in the mighty sight and rest your feet before taking the trail back out of the park. The hike ends at the town of Choachí, where you’ll be able to join in with some of the locals for a fantastic local lunch before heading back to Bogotá.
