Join us on our Coffee Farm experience as we set out from the center of the city and head an hour and a half deeper into the mountains of Bogotá! We will start the day by enjoying a traditional Colombian breakfast together and then go to meet our local farmers. We will discuss what it means to be an organic coffee farm and what the daily tasks of a farmer look like. Walk around the farm and take in the more than 8,000 coffee plants. We’ll learn how to hand-pick coffee and process it, and then afterward we will enjoy a delicious cup of coffee prepared in a unique way. If the weather and season permit, we will even get to plant our own coffee! We wrap up the tour with local cuisine for lunch and began the trip back to the city, making brief stops to take pictures of the Paramos ecosystems and the picturesque Bogotá city skyline. Total duration: 7-8 hours.

Head out of Bogotá into the great outdoors on this 8-hour excursion to the Chicaque cloud forest. You’ll be picked up at your hotel for the drive to the natural park. Enjoy walks along the ecological trails and take part in other activities that interest you, while the driver waits. At the end of the designated time you’ll be transferred back to your hotel. From pick up to drop off is a total of 8 hours. The park’s 9 trails are quite well marked, so a guide isn’t necessary to enjoy a day of hiking. Horseback riding and bird watching are also available at additional cost. There’s a restaurant where you can stop for a meal and take in great mountain views. You’ll find a variety of birds, some of which are endangered. In particular, 15 species of hummingbirds have been spotted. Twenty species of mammals have been recorded and to date, 630 plant species have been identified.

The tour begins at 7:00 AM in the reception of your hotel or accommodation. Then, go to Calera town and taste the sweet water of panela with an arepa de maiz. Then head to Chingaza National Park, located in the Eastern Cordillera of the Colombian Andes, northeast of Bogotá. At the entrance of the natural reserve, you will pick up your local guide.  The guide will take you through the trails and paths of this paradise. The tour lasts between 3 and 6 hours, depending on your resistance. You will see the lagoon of Buitrago or the lagoon of Siecha. If you are lucky, you may see spectacled bears and deer. The tour will end with an incredible view of the mountain before returning to the city of Bogotá.

Ride on a Colombian Creole horse along the fauna, flora, rivers, creeks and lakes that make the Andean highland a perfect scenario for a thrilling day out in nature during your stay in Bogotá. On this tour, you will be driven from Bogotá to a rural location 40 minutes to the south east of the capital. There, a local cowboy will be expecting you with tame - yet powerful - horses ready for the adventure. After some instructions and advice, you'll start the ride, in the company of a guide (if option selected). Going up to 3,200 MAMSL, you will enter an Andean ecosystem, which is very different to the stereotypical image of the tropical jungle many visitors have about Colombia. After an hour's ride, you'll reach a fantastic lookout point where you'll be able to see the Monserrate Hill and even Bogotá in the distance. After a break (for stretching your legs and having a snack), you'll head back to the ranch via another path, making a loop. Get dropped off back at your hotel after returning to the ranch.

San Agustín is Colombia's most recognized archaeologic destination. The mysterious indigenous group that built hundreds of gigantic stone sculptures in this area disappeared years before the arrival of Spanish Conquistadores, leaving many questions open for contemporary archaeology. Moreover, San Agustín is located in the Macizo Colombiano Area, known for its impressive hydric richness, and stunning mountainous landscapes. Itinerary Overnight bus ride You will be picked up at your hotel in Bogotá at 8:00 PM to take you to Salitre's Bus Terminal to continue in a comfortable bus to San Agustín in a 10hour aprox overnight ride to the south of the country arriving early on next day's morning. Check in at hotel and this day is free for you do explore on your own. Day 1 We pick you up at the hotel to carry out the tour of the Archaeological Park of San Agustín, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1995. Here we will take a pleasant walk immersing ourselves in the magic and in the legacy that left the pre-Columbian culture that inhabited the Alto Magdalena, we will visit the Mesitas A, B, C, Fuente del Lavapatas, Alto del Lavapatas, Forest of Statues and Museum. The tour is done walking with the accompaniment of the professional guide. Duration of 4 hours, low level of demand. In the afternoon at 3:00 pm we pick you up at the hotel or meeting point that you establish with the driver assigned on his day. They will travel to the Strait of Magdalena where our river of the country meets reduced to 2.20 m in the middle of a canyon of amazing beauty. 2 hour tour. The tour takes place by car. Day 2 After breakfast we will enjoy a smooth bike ride through San Agustín, where we will see the murals of our graphic artists, the architecture of our churches, the traditional street of the crafts and we will delight an exquisite special coffee of our region. Duration 2 to 3 hours. Optional if you don't want to do the bike tour, we have the coffee tour in Certified farm with microlots of special coffee where they will learn the entire coffee process from sow up to the cup. Delivery of rooms at noon. The tour ends at approximately 1:00 PM, you can have your lunch at the town, and have the rest of the afternoon for yourself before departing to Bogotá at 6:00 PM. You will be arriving in Bogotá at 6:00 AM on the next day, and you will be taken to your hotel or any other place of your choice within Bogotá.

Energized, mount your horse and ride the trail that will take you back to Colombia’s religious colonialism and the transformations it caused. Enjoy the horseback ride tour through mountain and forest into Monserrate, learn of the indigenous and rural traditions and their connection to the hills, before reaching the famous viewpoints and cathedral. Once at Monserrate you can rest your weary haunches after the ride and take in the amazing views: the whole plateau is yours to take in.
