    Ride on a Colombian Creole horse along the fauna, flora, rivers, creeks and lakes that make the Andean highland a perfect scenario for a thrilling day out in nature during your stay in Bogotá. On this tour, you will be driven from Bogotá to a rural location 40 minutes to the south east of the capital. There, a local cowboy will be expecting you with tame - yet powerful - horses ready for the adventure. After some instructions and advice, you'll start the ride, in the company of a guide (if option selected). Going up to 3,200 MAMSL, you will enter an Andean ecosystem, which is very different to the stereotypical image of the tropical jungle many visitors have about Colombia. After an hour's ride, you'll reach a fantastic lookout point where you'll be able to see the Monserrate Hill and even Bogotá in the distance. After a break (for stretching your legs and having a snack), you'll head back to the ranch via another path, making a loop. Get dropped off back at your hotel after returning to the ranch.

    Great experience more so because we were the only ones on the tour - special thanks to our guides - Maria & Francisco - they were fantastic! Feedback to future travellers (and the company) - the sights were great the trail were was is not easy - ideally should not be the first time on a horseback, do believe everyone should be given helmets.

    This tour was simply phenomenal. From start to finish, our guide, Felipe, made my friends and me feel at ease. None of us had any experience riding a horse before, but it didn't take long for us to get the hang of it. And the experience, food, and scenery were absolutely amazing! We didn't have any direct contact with Felipe or his organization until the day of. Just make sure you're waiting in front of your hotel by 8:00 am and Felipe, or some other guide, will come get you. For the price, you can't beat this. If you want to explore the countryside of Bogota, ride a horse up a mountain all in the middle of an amazing view, I would recommend this trip without any reservation. Felipe, if you're reading this, thank you! Keep up the good work, my friend.
