Here, we will explore the area of the homonymous historical monastery and take more photographs of the panoramic view from this amazing vantage point. The village of Pyrgos, which is located at the foot of Mountain Profitis Ilias, will be the first traditional village of our tour. This place offers us trademark panoramic views of both sides of Santorini, while it retains features of the Venetian rule. Moreover, the traditional Cycladic houses and pathways placed all around the old Venetian castle make Pyrgos Village a place not to be missed.
