Join this all inclusive hike which will take you to a small gorge, past little streams, to some secret passages, through piece of wild forest and to some nice viewing points. All this in couple of hours of moderate hiking. Meet in central location in Bled for your beautiful half-day guided hike off the beaten paths hiking experience in the Triglav National Park. Please wear appropriate clothes for a moderate couple hours hike in the neighboring hills, forest and gorge (some stairs and steep paths included). Wear good hiking shoes and have some extra clothes in your backpacks for just in case. Having a poncho with you is always a good idea, although a basic one will be provided if requested. Each guest gets also a free bottle of water.

Hike 5 minutes up to the starting point of your via ferrata experience in the alpine village of Mojstrana. Via ferrata is a method of rock climbing in which the climber is aided by two steel wires: one to hold and the other to walk on. Through via ferrata, you’ll be able to explore the face of the mountain without having to have any rock climbing experience.  Choose between a beginner or a more challenging route. Put on your gear and climb the side of the cliffs. Observe the village and surroundings from the top and enjoy the amazing birds-eye views. Descend the first ferrata and take a 5-minute drive to the second starting point nearby an amazing waterfall. Feel the feeling that anything is possible as scale up canyon while the river moves below.

Spend 2 hours exploring Lake Bled and its spectacular surroundings. Your local guide will know just where to go to capture the best shots of the lake and will provide plenty of information on the lake and its history.  This private tour starts early with pick up from your Ljubljana Hotel or Guesthouse at 8:00 AM. Arrive at Bled Lake at 8:50 AM and enjoy 2 hours checking out the best views. Choose to take a typical Pletna Boat (15 Euros/adult) to visit the famous Island Church (6 Euros/adult).  Depart for Ljubljana at 11:15 AM and return to your Ljubljana Hotel or Guesthouse at 12:00 PM.

After a short drive from downtown Bled, reach the starting point for the hike and get a brief induction from your guide. Head off on your hike and enjoy the river freely, relax, inhale nature and capture some memorable pictures. Be accompanied by your guide here and there to make sure you are on track. Walk along the river and come across attractions like Vintgar Gorge. Take a few easy stairs, a hanging bridge, a very short beginner climb, a gorge and you can even dip into the freezing water if you like. End the hike with a drive back to your hotel in Bled.

7. Mount Triglav Winter Climb

Starting from Bled in the early morning, you will be driven for 40 minutes to the starting point at Krma valley where your adventure begins. The first part of the ascent takes about 9 hours and includes stops on the way. End the climb at a snowy mountain hut which is the highest hut in Slovenia. Take the rest of the day off to enjoy the marvelous views of the surrounding Julian Alps. Experience sleeping overnight in a cozy mountain and restore your energy for the second-day ascent to the top. The next morning, you will be well equipped for the winter ascent to the top. This climb will take about 2 hours. The downhill descent will take approximately 10 hours with stops in between. You will then be transported back to the Bled area.

Start your trip with a drive from Bled through the Zgornjesavska dolina valley towards Kranjska Gora where you will take a short brake at lake Jasna and enjoy the scenic view of the beautiful nature. From there you will continue along the road which will take you on a winding ascent towards the highest Slovenian mountain pass Vršič. Stretch your legs with a refreshing hike to the nearest peak for another breathtaking view. After all the sights and impressions, you will take a car train ride to the Bohinj valley which is known for its lake, the old stone bridge and church. A after a stroll around the area, a short ride will take you back to beautiful Bled. The trip takes around 12 hours and it will definitely be the highlight of any holiday in Slovenia!

9. Panoramic Hike in Julian Alps

This hike will take you to the 2014 meter-high peak of Debela Peč. In just 3-hours you, your family and friends can reach the top and enjoy an amazing view over the Julian Alps to the North and West. From this vantage point, you can also see spectacular views of Lake Bled and its surroundings to the South, the majestic Karavanke Ridge to the East and Karavanke-Savinja Alpine Ridge in the distance on the south-eastern side. Your day will start with transport from Bled to Pokljuka plateau where you will start the hike. During the hike, you will be able to see the beautiful natural surrounding of the Julian Alps. You will also make some stops to take pictures with all the beautiful views. Reaching the top will reward you with an amazing view of mighty mountains in the surrounding area. On the way back you will stop at the cabin under the peak, where you can try traditional mountain-Slovenian food. Then, take a pleasant downhill trek to the valley where your tour vehicle is located. From here you will return back to Bled. The hike will take you approx 5-6 hours and is also appropriate for children.

Bled: City Highlights Tour with Hiking & Bled Cream Cake

10. Bled: City Highlights Tour with Hiking & Bled Cream Cake

We will meet at 9.00 am at our office in Bled. Alternatively, we can pick you up at your location. If winter conditions are harsh, your guide will provide you with microspikes (to prevent slips) and trekking poles. We will drive to the hike’s starting point. The starting point for hiking is on the northern side of Lake Bled, heading to the foot of our first hill, Ojstrica. When we reach the peak in around 30 minutes. At the top, we admire the lake view while enjoying coffee or tea. Then we continue to the second peak, Straža, on the lake’s south side. A walk through the fresh winter forest will reward us with beautiful views over Lake Bled and the surrounding mountains. We will visit the infamous Bled castle for our last peak and taste the original Bled cream cake. We finish by walking downhill back to the van.

Super fun day, made some friends and definitely stepped outside of my comfort zone doing canyoning. Rafting was relaxed and the guide was really good fun!
