What people are saying about Bled

We really enjoyed our wine tasting experience in Bled. Our guide, Tina, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. In an old and atmospheric wine cellar we were able to taste seven (2x white, 1x orange, 1x blend, 2x red 1x dessert) different Slovenian wines. Before the actual tasting, we got an introduction to the Slovenian wine regions (with the help of a map on the wall) and grapes. Next to the wines we were provided with home-made bread and pumpkin seed oil, cheese, ham and olives. With three of the wines we were able to taste some hand-made chocolates from a very small Ljubljana manufacturer. In the end, we passed the quiz and were rewarded with a small souvenir. We were able to buy the wines which ranges from EUR 13 to EUR 25 per bottle. All in all, we would totally recommend the Bled wine tasting. It was very fun and informative.

Great instructions and bikes. We went early and Only walked the scenic first half of the gorge then headed back on an alternative route to the very less touristed side of Lake Bled. We then took a boat to the church from there and completed the loop of the lake, finished off by a cream cake over the road from the office. A great day out

Absolutely wonderful experience. Great value for money and really helpful staff. eBike was definitely helpful for some steeper sections of the road. Gorge seemed crowded at first, but once you pass the bottlenecks it eases out, so don't fret when you see a line, it moves very fast. Cream cake was the best cake I've ever eaten.

Amazing bikes, kind host who gave us thorough, clear instructions and to top it all, beatiful scenery. The complementary cake was delicious too.

A little bit of interesting history mixed with some tasty local cheese and prosciutto and very delicious wine with a charming host.
