An intercity train takes you within 2 hours to Interlaken, where you change to the local train. After 20 minutes, you will arrive at Lauterbrunnen, a small village at the end of the valley. An intercity train will then take you to Interlaken East, and from there the small local train will take you to Lauterbrunnen where you will change to the local bus. With your tour guide, you will travel 15 minutes to the end of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, passing the "Staubbach" Waterfall, the helicopter base and the steep walls of neighboring mountains. Once at Stechelberg, you will transfer to a cable car.  The first section will take you along the rock to Gimmelwald, where you will change for Mürren. In Mürren, boarding the 3rd section of the cable car, you will be taken to Birg which sits 2,100 meters above sea level. At Birg, your tour guide will lead you to the "thrill walk". From the terrace at Birg, the thrill walk leads down to the vertical drops of the breath-taking rock massif. A steel structure about 200 meters in length and closely hugging the mountain, it passes underneath the observation deck and concludes below the station. Afterwards, you will board the last section of the cable car, which will take you up to 2,970 meters above sea level to a majestic world surrounded by mountains. You will then tour an exhibition surrounding the James Bond movie, which includes many interesting exhibition objects. The restaurant rotates 360 degrees within 45 minutes, providing fantastic views to "Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau". With good enough weather conditions, you may even be able to see Mont Blanc. You will conclude your stay on the terrace, before your guide leads you to Mürren.  Mürren is a traditional mountain village at an elevation of 1,638 meters above sea level, and is unable to be reached by public roads. It is also one of the most popular tourist spots in Switzerland, with summer and winter the busier seasons with tourists. Your guide will lead you from the cable car station through the village on a 15 minutes walk to the train station, where the narrow gauge train will take you back to Lauterbrunnen. Your guide will travel with you back on the local train to Interlaken, where you will change onto the intercity train to Bern.

In order to see all the activities, you must have a guide as it is very easy to get lost and miss important things, at least for those visiting this attraction for the first time.

Mike was very knowledgeable and really personable. Enjoyed even though weather didn’t cooperate.
