Enjoy this small multimedia experience and discover Bern in a unique way. Choose from two organized routes. Precise directions will lead you directly to the landmarks, while music by famous artists from Bern provide the soundtrack to your tour. This way of touring presents an all-encompassing experience of the Swiss capital; experience the real characteristics of Bern. Begin the tour at any time you choose and take breaks whenever you want. The narrative is excellent. The iPod is old and hard to see the pictures. But overall a much better experience than walking with a group on a fixed schedule.

Back at the train station, you will take your seat in the panoramic train. The train departs at approximately 11:45 AM. In Disentis, the train will start to climb to 2033m above sea level into a rough alpine landscape. This tour is good enough to follow self guide. Just get the tickets online and follow the schedule. Make sure you know which glacier express route you wanted to see. I made a mistake thinking that the tour will go all the way to Zermatt but the route I purchased stopped at Bern. So, it was quite a disappointment. Our apple pie was not served in the train but was packed up because the cafe forgot to serve us on time.

Great opportunity

The first time this "free leadership" used and are very excited, because you are completely independent. Both tours in Bern have expired and have experienced a lot of interesting things. The pace was exactly adapted to the track. But you can also stop and have a coffee break on the way.

Very informative, well paced and well written... I learned a lot.

Someone put a lot of thought into this experience. It is very interesting, very well written and spoken;. There is plenty of interesting information, just right, not too much. I like the fact that they divided it up onto a couple of parts... I happily took both of them. Thank you Bern!

Very good visit - constructive comment, neither too long nor too cool. The two routes allow you to see the essentials of the city of Bern in a good afternoon walk. The iPod leaves the freedom to linger wherever we want along the way. We highly appreciated!

The narrative is excellent. The iPod is old and hard to see the pictures. But overall a much better experience than walking with a group on a fixed schedule.

This guide makes it so easy to see Bern and to learn about the city! it really is worthwhile and is very easy to follow.
