Berlin: 'Hitler, How Could It Happen' Exhibition
- Valid: 1 day
- Optional audio guide
This is a long exhibition, easy to find and in a very interesting location (the Anhalter station bunker) with a lot of reading and standing - it is however excellent, well displayed material and photographs of WW1 and WW2 that I've never seen before - which made it well worth the visit. However you almost need a break (coffee and cake) during the visit to enable you to get to the end ........
The bunker itself was a spectacle, however all of the information inside was very interesting, in a great chronology. Lots of info, although didn't over do it. I would definitely recommend getting an audio guide for this.
Interesting, thought-provoking exhibition with a lot of rare-find materials. Very saddening too given the nature and gravity of the subject matter at hand. Was keen to know more about this dark history of Berlin.
They have lockers to put your bags and coats which is really helpful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of stairs and lots of rooms, but there are chairs in most areas for a rest.
Very informative, the audio sometimes wasn’t in time with what you were looking at but nothing that a pause here and there didn’t solve
