The starting point of the "City Route I" is at the World Time Clock at Alexanderplatz. Then, head to the TV Tower, which has a viewing platform with wonderful views over the city (tickets not included). Continue on to the Rotes Rathaus and the Berlin Cathedral, where you’ll find further activities for the scavenger hunt. Then, visit the Museum Island with its 5 fantastic museums. Take a break there or visit one of the museums, such as the Pergamon Museum or the Neues Museum with stunning bust of Nefertiti. Find more tasks at Gendarmenmarkt, the beautiful square with French and German Cathedrals. Continue on to Pariser Platz and the Brandenburg Gate before experiencing the atmosphere at the Holocaust Memorial. Head on to Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie but don't forget to solve those riddles. How the scavenger hunt through Berlin works: In the box there are between 8 and 16 closed and numbered envelopes. These include small tasks that need to be solved. With clear and understandable directions, you make your way through Berlin on foot. Solve the riddles and find your way to the next attraction in the city. At each location you will receive extensive background information.
