Really informative we had Cian as our tour guide. He just knew so much about the camp, the history of WW1 & II and Berlin. Really interesting and informative tour. Sachsenhausen itself was huge and really gave me the feeling of imprisonment. If you are in Berlin and would like to know more about how a nazi camp worked you should definitely go on this tour!

During the trip to the camp you will get a lot of information about the origin of the Nazis and how the camp was set up. Once there, you get a picture of how a totally absent sense of empathy can turn people into animals. The guide takes a lot of time to explain everything well. Very impressive and sometimes downright oppressive.

Cian was an amazing tour guide. We’ve taken 3-4 guided tours like this over the past two weeks but this was the best one. He had so much knowledge - both about the camp, WWI and WWII. If you are in Berlin, you MUST take this tour. It was the most powerful and educational activity that we did. Also, it was much easier to take a small bus versus the train/walking tour for my mother because she’s 74. If you have someone older in your group, I highly recommend this tour over the one that involves walking from the train station.
