Full description
The day begins with pickup from your hotel in Bergen at 6:00 AM and sets out towards Gudvangen. During the summer months, drive along the spectacular Stalheimskleiva with its impressive 13 hairpin bends that offer unique vantage points of the scenery. Arrive at Gudvangen and board an electric passenger ship, the Future of the Fjord, for a tranquil sail along the Nærøyfjord towards Flåm.
As you glide along the peaceful water, soak up breathtaking views of the Nordic landscape that surrounds you. Hop off the boat in Flåm and onto the charming Flåm Railway, which is one of the world's steepest railways on normal tracks. Journey through the rolling landscapes on the 20 km train journey, which takes about an hour, until you reach Myrdal Station where you will change onto the Bergen Railway.
Finally, travel through the scenic Hardangervidda National Park to Oslo Central Station where the adventure ends.
