Depart from San Ignacio and head to the starting point for your hike. Make your first river crossing band hike to the cave entrance for a safety demonstration. Make your way into the cave, swimming and then walking through the main water passage until you reach the boulder and head to the dry chamber. To enter the chamber, you will be required to slip off your shoes in order to protect the cave. Marvel at the cave's artifacts, most of which have been calcified into the ground, unmoved even by archaeologists. Hear your guides talk about the rituals and ceremonies, bloodletting offerings, food offerings and human offerings, including the 15 human remains uncovered by archaeologists. To access the last chamber, you will climb up a ladder to see a full skeletal remains before exiting the cave in the same way you came in. You will hike back to the parking lot before replenishing yourself with lunch and returning to San Ignacio.

Snorkel at the Hol Chan marine reserve and at Ray Alley, the second largest coral reef system in the world, on this day trip from Caye Caulker. See corals that have been protected for over 30 years at the Hol Chan marine reserve. Feel the thrill of diving with sharks in the Ray Alley. Stop for lunch onboard at 12:00 PM. Cave Tubing:  Start your adventure at No'och Che'en National Park with a hike through the subtropical forest. As you sit and enjoy the tubing downstream, the journey will take you through a series of remarkable limestone caves, each filled with fascinating discoveries of the Mayan underworld. You can also jump into refreshing crystal-clear blue waters formed in-between the cave entrances. Float through some rapids, view sparkling cave formations, and learn about cave geology and Mayan History. River Tubing:  This adventure takes place along the Mopan River - a very important water source for the ancient city of Xunantunich. Start by clipping on your helmet and putting on your floating device. Then, jump into your tube and begin floating downstream on the easy flowing water. Just as you get comfortable, feel the adrenaline as you reach some class I rapids. After floating past the village, continue into a jungle area and admire the incredible native flora and fauna that Belize has to offer. Horseback Riding:  Alternatively, begin your experience on the outskirts of Succotz village. Ride a friendly horse along an ancient Mayan trail as you dodge low-hanging tree branches. If you are lucky, try to spot adorable Howler Monkeys jumping between the trees.

Start with pickup at 7:30 AM from San Ignacio and travel 1.5 hours to the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. Upon arrival walk for 10 minutes until you reach the Rio Frio Cave. After exploring this small cave, drive to the Chiquibul Forest Reserve located nearby.  Explore the ruins of Caracol, which was the largest metropolis in the Maya lowlands located deep within the Chiquibul Forest Reserve. While travelling to this location, enjoy a stunning scenery of the flora and fauna. Walk along the trails and paths that were once traversed by nobles and citizens of the Mayan empire.  Explore the largest Mayan archaeological site in Belize on a 3-hour guided tour. Learn about the size of the former city, as well as the various religious rituals performed in the temples. Climb some of the structures and learn about the important archaeological discoveries of the site. Enjoy a local lunch followed by a visit to the Rio on Pools or Big Rock Waterfalls. Swim in the refreshing waters to cool off after a day of exploring, and be returned to San Ignacio at approximately 5:00 PM.

Depart from San Ignacio, Belize and arrive at the park after driving for an hour. Hike through the jungle, along the river bank and carry your tube up to the starting point. Choose to tube through 1 cave or 2 caves, depending on how far you want to walk. Walk for 30 minutes to reach the other starting point, which will only take you through one of the caves.  Float down the river and relax in the first cave, as your expert guide tells you about Mayan culture and their beliefs. After the Adrenalin rush through the air, cool off in the water of a picturesque natural pool.

Meet your guide at the Cruise Ship Terminal or in your hotel lobby, depending on the option selected. Relax as you board the air-conditioned vehicle and set off for a 1-hour road trip. Along the way enjoy views of the old Belize river, rural villages, fruit trees, and birds. When you arrive at the dock, board your boat for the 1-hour cruise on the New River. Be sure to watch for iguanas, crocodiles, turtles, birds, and water-lilies. At the Lamania Maya Site, your guide will lead you on a walk through the rainforest, scattered with ancient structures, to arrive at the Mask Temple. Your guide will share in-depth archeological information about the site. The Lamania Maya site is known for being the longest continually-occupied site in Mesoamerica. The thriving crocodile population in the nearby New River lagoon gave Lamanai its name. Lamanai is the Spanish historic name for Lama’ an/ayin, which means “submerged crocodile.” Many of the site's main structures and excavated artifact exhibits represent the famed reptile. You'll have the chance to climb to the summit of the highest temple and see the awesome view of northern Belize and the lagoon. Then continue your walk through the Ball Court, Stelas, the Jaguar temple, stelae, and residential buildings. Then board your boat for the return trip to Belize City, with drop-off at the Cruise Ship Terminal or at your hotel lobby, depending on the option you selected.

Discover the wide variety of lush marine life in the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Get your heart racing by snorkeling with sharks and stingrays on the second-largest barrier reef in the world. Meet your group at the meeting point on Caye Caulker island, then take a 30-minute boat ride along the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve. Hol Chan has been a marine reserve since May 2, 1987, and covers almost 7 square miles (18 square kilometers). Some areas are only about 5 feet (around 1.5 meters) deep, while the channel is about 30 feet (just over 9 meters) deep. Once at the reserve, choose whether to observe the abundant marine life from the boat or take the adrenaline rush of jumping in and exploring the amazing underwater world. If snorkeling, keep on the lookout for brain coral, star coral, sharks, stingrays, turtles, pufferfish, eels, parrotfish, angel fish, barracuda, and even the seasonal manatee. Spend around 45 minutes exploring the vast variety of fish species at the first site. Follow this with the opportunity to snorkel with sharks and stingrays in Shark Ray Alley, then enjoy snorkeling with the majestic sea turtle. At the end of the tour, head back to the peaceful island of Caye Caulker where you began.

Board an air-conditioned vehicle and head to the caves on a 1-hour narrated tour of the country, local customs, and natural scenery.  When you arrive at the cave site, change into your swimsuit and get kitted out with helmets, headlights, life vests, and inner tubes for the cave tubing. Then, take a short hike in the jungle for about 25 to 30 minutes to get to the entrance of the caves, crossing the river a few times. As you begin tubing inside the cave, stay connected to all the tubes as your guide takes you along the route. Marvel as they point out natural rock formations, bats, stalagmites, and stalagmites. Then, emerge from the cave and enjoy an open river float for another 15 to 20 minutes. Keep your eyes peeled in the trees as it's possible to see black howler monkeys and other wildlife.  At the end of the tour, have time to change into dry clothes and drive to your next adventure. The zip-line site is only minutes away from the cave area. Once there, get geared up in your harness and helmets and hand gloves.
