Full description
Enjoy this Vojvodina Province tour that leads you to Novi Sad, the capital of the province and second biggest city in Serbia and Sremski Karlovci, a small town known for its baroque architecture and wine production. The tour includes a visit to Sremski Karlovci, a small baroque town where the Treaty of Karlowitz was signed at the end of Great Turkish War in 1699. Afterwards, you will explore the streets of the town. The sightseeing ends with a visit to a wine cellar and the tasting of famous wine from this region - bermet. The next stop is the city of Novi Sad and its famous Petrovaradin fortress, where Exit music festival is held every summer. Learn about its "Drunken Clock", and immerse yourself in the city's baroque architecture, excellent museums, and art galleries. Then, your final stop will be at a traditional Vojvodina farmo house, where you can sample traditional dishes from the area. You have the option to choose between a private or shared experience. Plus, if you would like lunch in Novi Sad, your guide will be happy to recommend somewhere. The tour is guided by a professional tour guide.

We were lucky to have a guide that for the 2 of us, the guide knew his subject very well and was very pleasant, not speaking fluent English he found simple words to explain the different sites visited to us. Petrovaradin fortress and Novi Sad, wine tasting in a cellar of Sremke Karlovici, we were notified the day before of the pick up time at our hotel and the guide was punctual. Thanks to Miroslav

Very comfortable, enjoyable tour with full of cultural information

Thanks to our talented tour guide Miroslav, my friend Özgün and I learned so much the places of Sremski Karlovci, Petrovaradin fortress and Novi Sad. Furthermore, we have been well informed about the geography and culture of Serbia in general. We highly recommend for taking this tour for the ones who are interested in these cultural places of Serbia with the tour guide Miroslav. We also would like to thank to Ms. Nina from “Serbian Excursions”, who informed us about the tour program very properly.
