Hop back in the car and travel next to the hill of Vračar, crowned with Saint Sava Temple. This symbol of Belgrade, with its white and gold exterior beautifully dazzling in the sunlight, has a prominent place in the Belgrade skyline, reflecting the strong Christian Orthodox faith of Serbian. Arrive at Slavija Square and see the remains of the Serbian General Staff building, destroyed during the NATO bombing of 1999. After passing Terazije Square with its remarkable hotel Moskva. Walking through Belgrade with a knowledgeable guide is magic!

Our charming local guide Dragana helped us to appreciate and understand the cultural history of Belgrade over many centuries which enriched our visit to this unique city. We highly recommend a personal guided walk for the experienced travellers who wants to feel the heartbeat of Beograd especially given its complicated history and unusual town planning. Dragana was so gracious and intelligent sharing colourful stories and taking time with us as older travellers. Hvala ❤❤
