Full description
After meeting with your guide, who also a real cab driver, you will learn how they were personally involved in "The Troubles". You will then learn about how they are now dedicated to delivering an unbiased account of this dark period to visitors. Locations throughout your tour include Falls Road and Shankill Road, two communities still separated by the looming "peace walls". You will see many telling political murals, and share in stories from those who lived through the conflict.
You will be picked up from the Jurys Inn on your chosen date and time. The maximum number in a party is 5, though groups can be as small as 1-3. Notable people who have undertaken this same Black Cab Tour in the past include Anthony Bourdain, Vince Vaughn, and George Negus, to name but a few.
The tour will deliver a deep insight from the past & present, with your guide happy to answer any questions you have about the place. You will be free to ask about the troubled past, to changes in the city, or just a nice places for food and entertainment.
